On my 87 C22 the plate that the mast attaches to, I think it's called the mast step. Well, the two bolts that hold it to the boat are lose and they allow the mast step to move from side to side. Should I be concerned? I'd like to remove these bolts and the mast step in order to reseal the holes that the bolts go through. The problem is, there isn't any room to get a wrench on the nuts on the inside of the cabin. There is a metal shaft and the cable for the mast lights is in the way with no slack to move it. Like I said, should I be concerned that the mast step moves side to side.
