Lose Foot Conversion and Lazy Jacks Compatability

I am converting from a boom "slugged" mainsail to a loose footed one. I have lazy jacks (which I consider to be a great invention).

Considering that a loose footed main will billow out away from the boom much more than a mainsail that is slugged to the boom, should I be aware of any issues about stress to the lazy jacks or chafing?

If so, solutions?

I have a loose footed main with lazy jacks and a lazy bag. I just ease the lines and nothing touches the sail itself that would cause any major chafing issues.

I can't imagine a problem... the good news is that your outhaul can easily solve one if it manifests.
