Loose Mast Vision 36

Hey you Vision owners out there.

Have you ever had problems with the bolts around the mast at the cabin top loosening?

After we have gone through heavy seas the bolts become loose and the mast moves around and leaks.

I've tightened it up a number of times, but it just loosens up again.

Any experience, advice, guidance?

Vision Owners!

I have been having problems with the bolts around the deck ring becoming loose.

I made contact with Hunter and the only help they could give was in the form of the mast installation detail which says to tighten the bolts on the deck ring in a star pattern, (something I haven't done). But the detail does not specify a torque setting for the tightness of the bolts. I am worried about damaging the fiberglass deck if I torque too much.

How many pounds of torque would you apply to those bolts?

nylatch nuts, double nut or drill and tie the bolts, any of these should stop the loosening.
