Question: I noticed some "creaking" around the windows on my 77 C22. I removed one of the windows and it seems that the liner is delaminating from the outside. Should I just epoxy this back together(there is no structural damage i can see) or does this allow for movement with heat and humidity? any advice? I will also need to reseal my windows, any recommended sealers? Thanks!

window troubles

I just finished redoing the windows on my Cat 25. I had to stiffen up the liner with epoxy. I also bought both of the rubber seals (around the glass, and the trim piece from inside the window)from Catalina Direct. Boatlife makes a product called Life Seal that Catalina recommends to seal them back in. If you have the aluminum variety, the 3m makes a polishing compound that will remove the oxidation and make the frames look like new. Good Luck!!!!!!
