I have a 1981 H30 that has a loose connection for shifting from reverse-neutral-forward. The loose connection is where the wire from the pedestal connects with the transmission at the engine. I think it is most likely unscrewing due to engine vibration, but I don't see how I can prevent it. There doesn't appear to be space to put a nut with locking washer on the end. I'm not sure how it is unscrewing; both ends of the connection appear to be fixed. As it is now, I have to run below and screw the ends together frequently in order to have the boat in gear. Thanks for any suggestions.
