Hello again, Earlier this week I posted a message about the possibility of crewing in Jax area next weekend and Dale mentioned the Rudder Club Regatta on the 9th. I have already e-mailed a message to them. Thanks Dale. Perhaps I was not clear enough in explaining that I am an old time sailor with years of fresh and blue water experience. I am currently a member of Club Nautique Deux-Montagnes, located just outside of Montreal, Quebec, where I keep my Hunter 34. I will be spending next week-end in the Jax- St-Augustine area and I was wondering about the possibility of crewing for one of you guys on either Saturday or Sunday if anyone is going out for a sail. Of course I would be happy to participate in any cost there might be, as well as take care of my own libations. Hoping someone out there will take pity on a poor sailor whose boat has been buried under snow for months and will not be splashed until mid-May. You can email me at c.l.auger@videotron.ca. If someone wants to have me call them ahead, I'll be glad to do so this week. Just put your number on the email message. Looking forward to possibly sharing a nice sail with one of you guys,

If you can get to St Augustine....

You might also try St Augustine Sailing. They are based at Camachee Island Marina about 30 min drive from downtown Jax. SAS runs an ASA-certified sailing school and they also charter boats by the day at reasonable rates. I don't know if they can help you as far as crewing for somebody if there's a race, but it wuldn't hurtt to ask. I included a link below to their website. Good luck. Peter H23 "Raven"
