We looked at a Pearson 290 at the weekend but I have reason to believe that it's actually an O'Day.There's an article on this site that tells that the ODay 280 was simply a 272 hull and rigging with a pearson 27 liner and a 280 nametag slapped on the stern for marketing. see : http://www.sailboatowners.com/album/display.tpl?fno=60&id=McAndrew73118871530&bts=T Secondly the interior on the 290 we looked at is the same as that shown in the photos of the ODay 302 at : http://www.sailboatowners.com/boats/model.tpl?sku=3093186785228039&fno=60&bts=T I wonder if they did the same thing with the one we looked at and put a different name tag on a boat ?The hull number is supposedly number 7 and it's a 1991.In terms of overall it's very similar to the ODay Coastal cruiser at :http://www.odaysailboats.com/Coastal.asp Any pointers or Advice ?
