trailers
Just a good comment. I received a phone call last week. A fellow ordered and received a trailer for a ComPac 23. The dealer whom he bought it from did not know squat how to set the trailer up for the sailboat. When you order a trailer, it has to be fitted to the boat. Anyway, I walked him thru the procedure how to fit the trailer to his boat. He relaized it was not the manufacturer but the dealer who knew squat. If ordering a trailer, deal with someone who knows what to order and can give you pointers when it comes to sailboat. Power boat dealers generally do not know the ins and outs so stick with someone who knows sailboats and trailers. If you do buy up in Canada, realize that if there is a warranty issue, you may have difficutly in resolving the warranty isssue. Food for thought.
