Looking For Volume Controls

Well, we are getting close, our new 460 is scheduled to start commissioning on Feb. 2nd. I am now working out the last few details, and one of the things that I need to find are decent marine quality audio controls for the stereo system. The idea is to put a seperate volume control in each room that has speakers, so if someone wants to rock out in the main salon, but you want to sleep in your cabin, you can just turn the speaker volume down. I have seen a lot of boats that use the controls from radio shack, but these are not designed for marine use, and they seem to crap out after about a month on the water. Has anyone found any controls that will hold up to salt air and marine use, I don´t mind paying to do the job right, I just have not found any options. Thanks George

Stereo now an option?

George: My 460 came with the stereo which also included the volume controls. There is one in the forward cabin, one in the salon, and one in the cockpit. Does the boat now come with stereo as a option? Just curious. Mark Johnson

Thanks Jay, Mark, My stereo was not an option, but it will be installed by the company that comissions my boat (in this case Fla Yacht Charters). I told them that I did not want their standard volume controls on the boat and that I would supply the ones I wanted to be used.
