Looking for Vega

I am in the market to buy a Vega. Would prefer a diesel model located
on the left coast of the US or Canada. Cosmetic condition of boat is
not an issue, but I would like to be able to sail it to my homeport of
Sitka, Alaska, so I suppose a sound hull and rig are important.

Hi Jim and everyone else. Cruising the web this morning and found a site
called usedboats.com They're listing a couple of Vega's. One in North
Carolina and one in Dana Point, California. Got to the site from
weboat.com . Haven't looked at much elso on the site but it looks
interesting. Walt S/V Lyric
PS The current issue of Latitude 38 lists an Albin Cumulus for $12,500 OBO.
