Greg, it appears the OP resides in Canada (Trenton, ON) so his best bet for duty and possible warranty reasons would be defender.ca or better yet Marine Outfitters just down the street in Kingston. The Binnacle in Halifax is very competitive, will probably price match and free shipping.

Sorry for the stunning lack of info in my original post. It's for a Hunter 34 with a wheel, and I can't justify the cost of a new one ATM so I'm looking for used.

Have you checked eBay?

I found a new, but old stock St60 complete set up with new computer, compass, wheel drive, rudder sensor and the rest of the kit…for $800. I thought it was quite the bargain.

And I sold my used ST4001+ for a few hundred. It worked, and probably would have been something like you wanted.

I'll have to do a bit more research on what other models will work for my boat. This is the first time I've shopped for an Autopilot, so it was easy to find specs for new models, but since they're new, they don't seem to come up on ebay. If anyone knows, off the top of their head, of other models that are equivalent to the EV-100 please let me know. I'll check out the ST60.

I believe that only Raymarine makes a wheel pilot. CPT makes an above deck autopilot that uses a belt to a motor that drives the wheel.

I don’t think that Garmin makes a wheel pilot.

Others make below-deck auto pilots, but these are generally more expensive, need a strong point to attach a ram to, a place to attach the ram to your rudder post.
