Phil - I could use one of those for my H23 - though I assume there were different masts that require different inserts. Is that available?
Thanks, Peter

Thanks. "Expensive and won't work", I don't like. "Inexpensive and will work", I do.

I could use the stop, but ideally one of the gates seems preferable, as my jury-rigged stop leaves the sail higher above the boom than I'd like when stowing. A gate might make it easier to tie to the boom.

Phil, i was able to fix the track gate insert by grounding heads of metrick screws but i don't think that is how it should be done. Does the track gate should come witht the correct screws to fix it? Of so, where can i find them?

I definitely remember those but for the life of me I am not sure which mast. It would have been one of three, Z Spar (US Spar now), Dwyer aluminum masts or Charleston Spars (possibly Kenyon Isomat) depending on the age of the boat. If you will look on the side of your mast, you might find the manufacturer's name.

However, it is simple sail feed stop to keep the sail slides of the mainsail from falling out. There are other sail stops that would work but not sure if those which you pictured are still available. First can you identify the mast by the manufacturer sticker on the side of the mast.

I would address this in the small boat section for a quicker respone
