I purchased an '83 Hunter Cheribini 37 last summer and am excited! She came with a well worn staysail and 150 Genoa. I'm looking for another staysail in good shape. Also, I found the 150 to be difficult tacking with limited crew (me). I'm thinking I'd be better off with a smaller Yankee headsail. Does anyone have one in good shape I could buy or could make suggestions as to where I could find one?

Long long ago, before we had new sails made for our boat I acquired a HC 37 main, jib and staysail as spares for next to nothing and would be happy to pass them on. We drive up the I5 from time to time to visit family in Tacoma so there would not even be any shipping costs if you are in the right (left) Portland, although in the current situation I am not sure when that will happen next.
Also, there is a fine gentleman by the name of Jim Legere who created a database of HC 37 owners. After he lost his boat he passed it on to me to be the keeper. If you would like a copy please PM (private message) me. I would be pleased to add your information.

@Johnb If you are on I5 you could drop them off to me but I would have no way to get them to Maine... (ME). It is difficult when there are 2 Portland's.
On the other hand. If you want to stop and socially distance over a cup of Coffee... when they open up the state. Then A cup of Joe to break up your trip... Why Not.
Or if your are a bit of an adventurer, I know a great winery on the hill above I5 just south of Salem. Great wine, great views, good food.
