Could someone share a picture of the hardware attachment points on their bow? I have a Venture 21 and I'm not sure how to connect the jib and forestay. I'm working on a boat that is new to me and it's missing hardware. I have the common 2 hole connectors but I think I'm missing D-rings or pulleys or something.

I bet it's going to be something like this...
(which means I'm going to have to make some visits to West Marine!)

Thank you.

I have a Venture17 and believe the set up is the same. I've attached a drawing from the original set up instructions which should help. Ignore the self tending boom part and just look at the drawing on the bottom of the page. The forestay should have a turnbuckle, it attaches to the forward hole using a clevis pin and split ring. The jib or genoa then attach to the rearward hole using a shackle. I use a twisted shackle and also a D ring. Several variations should work, this is where your trip to West Marine comes in and you can look at hardware and figure out what works best for you. I hope this helps. I would send a picture but the boat is already in storage for the season.
