I just bought a 1976 DaySailer II. I'm looking for a source for the mainsail tack pin (I think that's what it's called -- it's the pin that holds the bottom forward corner of the mainsail to the boom).I've looked and DR Marine and Cape Cod Shipbuilding but they don't list it on their sites. Perhaps it's a standard pin, but I don't know what it looks like.Based on the shape of the holes (round with a "slot" on one side) it fits through, it appears the pin must have a small extension (at a right angle to the pin itself) that goes through the slot. I'm guessing the pin is then turned to keep it in place.Any description, source, picture, drawing, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Is this something I can likely find at a local marine parts store, or is it an "Oday" specific part?Thx.
