Looking for LED dash indicator lights

Anyone know where I can buy red water-proof LED indicators suitable for pedestal mounting and that won't interfere with night vision? I want something with a rubber gasket and a locking nut. Phil, I would think you would be all over this but I can't find them in the store.

Ross, Exactly like that. It has a west marine price on it though. If I can't find a cheaper source (I want to buy a handful of them), I'll buy it from WM.

Are you using them as idiot lights or illumination for something?

Holy Moley Ross.. that thing is 17mm in diameter.. over 5/8".. Big LED !

The absolute cheapest sealed LEDs I have seen are at an electronics parts store. The name is Fry's Electronics but I am sure there has to be a million different places like it.
Just don't tell anyone you are putting them on a boat, they multiply the price times 10!

They have bigger ones that you can see from across the room. That is an industrial source.

I am sure that most LED indicator lights handle mositure OK. What I am concerned about is a waterproof seal between the light and the pannel it is mounted in. My current indicator lights leak water through the holes they are mounted in.
