Hey all- I'm looking for some sailing buddies on Lake Champlain (Burl/Grand Isle area) to share their knowledge with a "weekend warrior" like myself. I've been sailing my O'day 222 for about 4 years now, and continuosly upgrading/maintaining her equipment in my free time. Lately I've been fighting the urge to upgrade and decided (temporarily) I should gain more experience with what I have now before I get a bigger boat.
I thought about taking some classes, however I've done a fair ammount of reading and sailing on my own over the last 4 years and think that most entry-level courses may be too elementary (beneficial, but probably not worth the $$).
Anyways, classes would be way too structured for me. My boat or yours, I'm here to learn. My work schedule is varied, but usually know my days off a month in advance. Oh, and I'll bring some of VT's finest- bottled and chilled
