Looking for km3a or km3a shaft kanzaki

Hi!

I am having trouble with my output shaft starting to wobble between shaft and coupling on my kanzaki km3a

Willing to buy a new km3a as an exact replacement or a shaft that is still good!

Km3a goes on my 3gmf

If you have part or kanzaki for sale, inbox me!

Welcome to the Forum, Marc..
Another option might be to have a machine shop make a new coupling flange, custom fit to your existing shaft, but with the same seal fit. You'd probably have to remove the gearbox and take it to a machine shop to get that done.

1st: You don't know, but thank you so much for all your contribution in this forum, you've helped me soooo much for the last 2 years with my hunter 34. (Engine/mast post/windlass and much more!)


2nd: the transmission is already appart. I thought the part time clunk trouble was due to the clutch cone so I bought a new one. When the mechanics opened it up, we saw that most of the trouble was the play between the shaft and the coupling.



He sais its worn in both, I can't just buy a new coupling and hope it's perfect (250us) Can a machinist make a thigth fit coupling to an unaved shaft after knowing itals worn on both? I can't see the worn part from my eyes on the shaft tho...



The coupling is still avalaible.

The shaft isn't since 2009 and haven't found any online.



I've sent a few quote for the shaft to machinist. The answer I've got so far are negative, mostly because of the middle part. Maybe I'd get better answer with the coupling?

Thanks for your suggestion, all help is really appreciated. I am seing my 2nd winter in the bahamas slowly drifting away haha.
