I am working on a hunter 1987 sailboat having trouble finding flooring for inside cabin as well as stanchions that match existing--- anyone that could help

It would help to know the model.

Most Hunter models of that era used teak and holly veneer 3/4" marine grade plywood. A Google search should locate suppliers for you.

Stanchions varied by model. Hunter Marine Customer Service should be able to help you out with who sourced them for your model boat.

Before I could successfully locate additional matching stanchions for my h40, I rewelded the bases/braces to return to of them 2 service. 3 weeks later I found 2 more in the used parts bin at Dunato's in seattle.

the floors are a tradeoff......ease of maintenance, good looks and waterproofing. a discusion on that teak and holley sole can be found here

btw......I started hand sanding the floor, a lot less dust and did it as I was able.
