I need to change the fuel filter on my 2GMH Yanmar engine but can't find the Racor filter number(or Dahl--both are recommended). Does someone have that number handy, please, or know where to look it up? This is a Hunter 31 '84. Thanks again. Bill

it depends on which racor you have

could be any number of models of racor.

fuel filters

if you are talking about the small engine mounted fuel filter you should use the yanmar. If you are talking about a filter between the engine and the tank you will need to get the manufacture and the model and buy the appropiate filter or equivelent. The yanmar # is 104500- 55710. You will also need to buy the "O" ring, yanmar part # 24341-000440. Check out the site below for a quick reference parts sheet under diesel engines then go to yanmar.

They did not come with the Racor installed.

Bill: These boats did not come with the Racor installed. I think that they had a canister type filter on the original boats. You will probably need to check out the filter for yourself to be sure. I would recommend that you use a 10 or 30 micron filter vs a 2 micron filter. I believe the engine filter is 2 microns.
