Hi all,
In the final stages of preparation for a 3-month cruise from Montreal down the St-Lawrence river, all the way along the north shore to Labrador, then down the coast of Newfoundland, St.Pierre & Miquelon, and return via the Bras d'Or Lakes before tackling the long up-stream trip back to Montreal.
Garmin does not supply the Micro G chips anymore for my 498 chartplotter and of course suggest I buy a new chartplotter in order to be able to then buy the SD card with the charts for that area (expletives deleted) !!!! Also tried all marine stores in Maritime area without success. My only hope is to find a used Micro G of that area that someone does not need anymore. Can anybody from Newfoundland, New Brunswick or Nova Scotia help me find that ?
I would also need bsb/kap charts for that area to load in my computer for use with Fugawi.
