Good Day All... I'm heading down to Chatham, Mass in a few weeks to pick up my O'Day 28... Excited as a school kid as you can well imagine... My boat doesn't have a dodger, but I found one on KiJiJi over the past few days for an excellent price, along with a matching sail cover... My concern being that it's coming off a C&C 27 which has less beam than my boat...

Does anyone know if this dodger will fit and/or be suitable for my new O'Day??? Thanks very much for any and all input, and "Happy Sailing"...

I would wait on that dodger, Wayne. At least until you get your boat. If you plan on sailing her back to your home port, you could always Mickey Mouse a small Polytarp over the companionway hatch in the event of rough seas or inclement weather. I do this all the time.
I think you're going to love the O'Day 28. We have one moored on the Taunton River near our YC and it's one of the nicest looking boats on the river, I think.

You are RCMP(Ret.), Celtic musician, sailor, and Canadian to boot. That should be an interesting mix! I hope you have a liberal bent, but a not too serious attitude...i could use a little moral support against Ed K. In any event, I look forward to your posts, pictures, and welcome aboard!
Congratulations on the 28. I have very recently just begun to dream about restoring an Oday 27LE or 28.
