I am looking for a supplier of acrylic half round bar stock located near the metro NJ-NY area. I only need a very small length (1 foot) of this material in either 1/2 or 3/4 inch size. I will solvent weld the piece on the inside of my companion way acrylic boards to act as a grab hold to keep my hand from slipping off the boards when removing them for storage. Any help from some of the plastics people out there? Thanks Bob S/V Gravyboat

I Looked in the Boston area YP for a plastic supplier when I needed a small peice. Found a major distributor and went to there shop. They had a pile of "scrap" peices they were selling by the pound. Found what I needed for a couple of bucks. Good luck in NY. Bryce

Found a supplier.

I called a neighbor in the business and he put me in touch with one of his suppliers. They had a scrap piece they gave me. I even have enough to do this again if needed. Thanks to those who responded. Bob S/V Gravyboat
