Unfortunately my boat was laid up for sometime and the interior stayed wet - and now the cushions have a lot of mildew we can't get out by any of the dry cleaning or other methods we have tried.
I hate to replace them, the vertical ones are nice and have a wonderful design but the oder and health issues would suggest we need to refurbish all of the cushions.
I did a web search and did not find any suppliers for our 1983 30ft. boat.

US Yacht Cushions in St Petersburg made the original cushions for my 1987 H31 (they still had the patterns), and I had them make new covers in 2006. They did very good work, but a friend of mine that restitched a seam that I pulled out, said that they did not use the strongest thread that they could have. E-mail address below.

Did you try to

remove the covers and wash them in a gentle cycle with something like woolite or some other mild detergent? Use warm water and rinse in cold. Hang them to dry, don't use a dryer.

And then take the cushions and put them in a hot tub or swimming pool and just let the tub or pool circulate with them in there for 15 to 20 minutes. The chlorine bleach in the pool or hot tub will usually remove the mildew and other obnoxious odors from your boat that has set into them.

This may work and let you spend your money for something else :)

If the cleaning doesn't work, I'd search for an upholster. They can use your old cushions for a template, and replace the foam, if necessary. Also, they'd probably have access to the latest fabrics. (eg. Sunbrella) The shop here in Milwaukee has a large selection of fabrics, and they specialize in foam products. Good luck.

Jo-Ann fabrics

Once upon a time, I tried my luck in furniture upholstery. There are several upholstery suppliers online or you may still find the foam at places like JoAnn fabrics. they have 1 inch to 5 inch thick sections up to 6 feet in length and you can "form" them with one of those turkey cutting electric knives, but I remember it being pricey. I like the idea of chlorinating in a pool, but I dont think mine would hold up being 20+ years old.
