The sticked-on rubber mats at the base of the mast of my 34 (see pix) as well as the ones inside have seen better days and need to be replaced. Does anybody have a source I can be directed to. Tks.

Claude:

Jamestown probably handles TreadMaster (which looks like what you may have). You could also just get a quart of Kiwi Grip.

I have been looking myself and the only one I found close is this :

I like the old Tredmaster but because of the size and odd shape of the pads, Treadmaster wants about $180 for enough.. I think Seadek might supply the pads for around $80, but i am not sure.. Outrageous in my opinion for less than 3 square feet of material .. Mine are terrible looking .. I am even considering a thin pad made of Plasteak .. or a dense wooden pad of teak or Ipe wood.

Thanks Steve & Kloudie, Jamestown does carry Treadmaster; Defender also has it but I'm with Kloudie insofar as price goes. Roughly $180 to do what I need to do so I'll keep looking for an alternative. Kiwi grip would probably be OK outside, but I wonder what it would look like inside on those cross members that stick 2" higher than the floor ?

I removed the interior ones and am in the process of removing the ones at the mast. The ones at the mast are proving to be a pain, pad came off but adhesive has held tight in small areas about size of dollar, against everything I have tried so far. Heat gun, acetone, Mr Clean pads, and scraper has gotten them down to quarter size. Trying goof off then Oven Cleaner next. Everything seems to get the edge but not the center of the blob. Really not much left but it looks bad. on the bright side it SAILS JUST FINE! I plan to leave mine gone since they cost so much and almost all functions are from cockpit.

Tks ! That maybe what I resort to do. It's not a high priority right now as I'm busy preparing splashing next week.

I took mine off several years ago, fine sanded the places where they were to get rid of the glue stains. Looks better with out and really didn't need them
