I guess I've put the cart before the horse, I just bought an O'Day 322, and now need to find a slip for a home port, ideally some where between Raritan Bay and Point Pleasant or Brielle., the further north the better. I'd appreciate any info, etc. Thanks, Ed njsailor999@yahoo.com

Can't help with the slip ...

Can't help you with a slip but wanted to say CONGRATS on your new 322. We bought one last spring (an '87) and are looking forward to our second season on the bay. It's a great boat -- you'll be pleased. By the way, we were almost in the same 'boat' -- trying to find a slip before we actually had the boat so we didn't end up with the boat and no slip! We weren't quite sure for a while HOW it was going to work out, but it did. Good luck!

Thanks

Dear Diane: Thanks for your note and positive feedback. We lucked out and secured a slip on Tuesday (during a snow squall no less). I know I'll love this boat (still working on a name), she is my 4th O'Day. We love the Chesapeake Bay and thought about the upper Chesapeake areas, Sassafras River and Tolchester areas. We'll post some photos after teh official name changing ceremony. Ed

Glad

You found a slip. We sail our '89' 322 in the Mid-west and love her. Will be the third season for "Wild Goose". Good Luck. Jeff
