Just pick up a 1982 Hunter 37c and some PO removed the salon table. We would like to put an original salon table back. If anyone pulled one or plans to pull one please contact us. We may have to build one or build a folding table still thinking on that one. Thanks

Hi, welcome aboard the forum!

There is quite a bit here on tables for the H37C (try search). A lot of people are amazed by the amount of room in the cabin with the table removed - you could almost dance down there - so several owners have designed tables that fold up against the bulkhead to preserve that spaciousness. Its just possible that someone might have an original table in a garage or attic somewhere. However, the cost of shipping something bulky like that could run high?

Another option might be to reproduce the original table yourself; it wouldn't be complicated if you are at all handy at woodworking. I could try and take some measurements off my table and make you a rough sketch, if you choose to go this route (but not until after Xmas at this point).

Also, as keeper of the H37C database, I would like to enter your boat, if you would care to share your HIN, boat's name and home port. You can PM or email me...or just post here.

Great boats - enjoy!

Thanks for the info. I will be happy to enter our new boat when we lock down a new name for her. Taking input on name if anyone wants. First we were thinking FREEDOM now we are thinking WHAT KNOT .

We have a few parts but not all from the old table. The PO was making it into a folding table and we still may.

Thanks, Ken
