Looking for a rudder

:bang: Help!! Someone STOLE my rudder ! While I was rehabilitating from a major accident, some devious _____ stole the rudder off of my 1985 Catalina 22. Unable to get one from Catalina. I have exhausted all sources I know of. Anybody got one they're not using? Or, maybe know where I can find one? Appreciate any and all suggestions.

I have a kick up rudder complete system.... rudder, rudder bracket, tiller, trunions, and grudgions.... it came off a Mac25 that got scrapped.... if you pay for shipping, it is your for free.... it needs a new paint job... it is in good shape...

I am curious to know why catalina is unable to provide a replacement rudder?

With the absence of an OEM replacement perhaps a build of a new rudder is a possibility. What is a rudder made off? I am assuming a core of some sort and heavy glasses over?

That kick-up Rudder-Craft rudder is GREAT! A "Rudder-Craft" rudder is probably the single best thing you can do for a C-22. I have both a fixed and kick-up versions on our C-22's. But that price is almost the price of a new one, and with a new one you get a lifetime warranty.

You just can't believe the difference they make! But, they ain't class legal.

A "Rudder-Craft" rudder will be steering us to Catalina Island next week. Not too late to join in on the adventure!
