I have been searching for a trailer with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement trailer i.e. manufacturer and model number of a trailer that will fit this boat. I have been trying to get hold of someone at Havencraft marine in Boston but I am not getting a response. Is there a venture trailer or some other trailer that will work? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at weeksrl@netzero.net Bob W.

A West Coast Source

I think there must be a trailer source closer for you, but at the Seattle Boat Show there was a boat trailer manufacturing company from British Columbia. The guy seemed to know what was needed for a Mac 25 and their trailers look pretty good - fully welded and 100% galvanized. I didn't get a quote, but he said with options the cost would be about $2k USD. They have a website at www.roadrunnerltd.com.

$2,000 is cheap!

The double axle trailer my '25 sits on is galvanized, has a 10 foot retractable tongue extention, and surge brakes. It was manufactured in Southern California in 1999 and sold for $3,995 plus tax. If you can get one for $2,000, go for it! I would recommend that whatever trailer you get should have side bunks installed by the manufacturer. The after-market add-on side bunks are trash.
