Looking for a cheapo bimini for C22

I wonder if someone can help me out. I am wanting a cheap bimini for my C22.....the ones on Ebay for under $200. I know CD sells them but I just need an inexpensive one just to get some shade. Any suggestions plus the size (length, width height) you ordered would be appreciated. Don't need stainless steel either since on a lake and will be removed in the winter.

Shipping is a problem. Better off buying locally through Craig list. On a small boat the Bikini is a little too confining. Hardly ever use mine even on the C27. However,
I do like the boom shade while moored.

Here's another cheap solution: Easy to put up and easy to store. Just make sure you get one with out the holes. My shaved-head friend had one he brought to Catalina, after the first day he looked like he had a Crown of Thorns.

I bought a complete 3 bow bimini from them with 1" tubing, boot, and the optional rear support poles for $89 shipped. The quality is very good for the price and their shipping is fast. I'd buy from them again.

Size depends on where you want to mount it, on the gunwales or on the deck outboard of the gunwales. I bought mine taller than the average C22 bimini and cut it down for a custom fit under the boom that lets me stand up under it. The CD bimini is too short for that. I also put it on tracks outboard of the gunwales, which gives me three usable positions: folded up aft out of the way for boarding and loading (but in the way of the winches for sailing), middle of the track for sailing (main sheet and backstay clear), and forward either raised to cover the open hatch at night for stargazing or laid down on the cabin roof completely out of the way for a clear cockpit.

I'm pretty happy with it. I'll be putting a post with all the details on my blog soon. I don't have any pics yet, but if you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer what I can.

Thanks Stingy, that's what I am talking about. Just want something cheap and quick to put up at anchor to get out of the sun. Probably won't use it when out sailing since it restricts viewing sails, windvane etc. though. At anchor when it's hot and the cabin is 110 inside some shade would be great.
