Mast Step Boots
There are a number of ways to come about a boot for your mast. First, as always, try Rudy. Failing that you can buy boots at most marine supply stores that will fit a range of masts. Measure the diameter you need and find the boot that covers that size. You can also buy special tape that applies to become a mast step boot. A more permanent solution is something called Spartite. You cover the opening from the bottom, with the mast in place, and then pour a solution into the gap. It cures to form a solid but flexible boot. Good luck, Justin - O'day Owners' Web
