looking for an oday25 looking for an oday25 will be trailerable
I am looking for an Oday 25 or a 26 inboard preferably...thanks for the replies to my first post...an outboard does have it's advantages...but if i had my druthers it would be a straight shaft...i believe there is more control of the boat in a narrow channel, rip current against a wind etc...if anyone has any leads please reply....Thanks

Drew,
I don't know how far you want to go for an O'Day 25 but there is one in Raynham Ma. It's a 1980 I think or so it reads on the transom. It has an outboard bracket on the stern. Not exactly what you're looking for, but it has a nice Ez-Loader tandem trailer under it and the guy is asking only $4500.00 for it. He was a member of our yacht club up to last year and he had it in the water at that time. I don't think he really took to sailing too well. He's green at sailing and he may have had a bad experience on it. He has gone back to power boating. I have his phone number if you want to give him a call. I don't know him all that well but he lives about four miles from where I live in Taunton Ma. I went into the boat when he brought it to the club last year. The inside needs a some work. It may have had water damage. The Vinyl gunwale is broken in some spots and the pen boards need replacing. The basic hull looked pretty good. It has an anchor locker on the bow. He rigged the trailer himself with adjustable poppets and a keel board.

Hello Drew,

I've got a 1977 25 that I'm trying to move to Texas. It's a project boat that's been in a slip in SE Louisiana since late 2006 after having the bottom done. It does need some work but has potential. The move will probably cost more than the value of the boat so I would be open to a reasonably low offer.
