Wouldn't want other boat, right now.

You might want to look in owner reviews on this website for more info . . . it's a great boat for our neck of the woods, Puget Sound. We were out in a steady 25 knots yesterday in our 35.5 (91) and enjoyed cruising even up to 7.8 knots. We've spent 52 days out this year on the boat and are extremely happy that we purchased the boat a year ago. The boat is roomy, sails well, and doesn't look like the newer ugly ducklings that Hunter's putting out these days, on top of all that, they're inexpensive! Try to make a low "buc book" offer if you're picking it up this time of year. Only downside--wish we would have got a 37.5!

I've written 2 reviews on our '90 35.5. As many owners have stated, the holding tank is somewhat small. We have an extra tank which has solved that problem. I think we will add extra refrigeration soon. We plan to live on our 35.5 and want to be able to freeze enough meat to last a week or more. We will also add 2 more batteries,a larger alternator, wind generator, and an invertor. We may switch from CNG to propane, because CNG is very hard to find. The verdict is still out on that one. In addition, we have plans for a dodger and bimini. All these add-ons are to make live aboard more comfortable. If you only plan to weekend cruise or short (2-3 week) trips, then the boat is fine just like she comes. We think the 35.5 is one of the best sailing boats out there. we can sail the boat in very aggressive conditions or when the wind is very light. If I could have any Hunter the 35.5 would still be my choice!
