Uh, Jim, check the calendar. The Super Blue Blood moon was January 31, 2018, there will be another eclipse on Jan 21, 2019 but not a blue moon.

If you miss the Jan. 31 lunar eclipse, you’ll have to wait almost another year for the next opportunity in North America. Johnston said the Jan. 21, 2019 lunar eclipse will be visible throughout all of the U.S. and will be a supermoon, though it won’t be a blue moon.

I did go out to see it on January 31. But my time machine is a bit on the fritz at the moment.

Just to be safe, I wore my eclipse glasses to see the super blue blood moon. I didn't see a darn thing. Good thing my wife took this picture with it in the background.

Anyone see Mars pass by? It was as big as the moon. Spectacular. Had my camera out but a Russian EMP from the first Sputnik deleted the pictures I took.

That's the same EMP that manages to blur every UFO picture taken by people who claim to have been abducted. It must have also caused a significant delay in SBO posts predicting a blue moon.

John, The phrase is "No drinking before the sun is over the yardarm" and refers to the sun going up above the yard... That's about 10 AM in my neck of the woods!.

With my binoculars/cam, I got two "non-Blurred" pictures. The first was..
Space Force One
Heading to Lunar orbit.

The Second was of Mars, but my boat's binoculars could barely pick up the Little white dots in lower part which are the Two moons of Mars.

I just found this app “SkyView lite”. You orient your phone to the night sky and the stars in front of you are displayed and named. Went out last night with my grandson. Had fun spotting stars, planets and constellations in the night sky. Venus and Jupiter were visible in the south and western sky in the last light after sunset.
Fun times.

That's a great APP. I've had it for a year or so now. You even hear this soft spacey music playing and can get a pretty good idea where the ISS will be while in orbit.
