Log book format?

Can anyone recommend a good log book appropriate for day and weekend C-22 sailing? I'm thinking of making a template for one on the computer so I can print them as needed. Has anyone done this, and would you care to share it? Thanks, John

Log Bopks

John After trying many different varieties, the one we chose was the Norton Sailor's Log by John Rousmaniere. I have seven of them! (Each of the covers is different, but the text inside is the same.) We're working on book #3 now, and have a few in reserve since they're for some reason pretty hard to come by, so I've got empty ones for the future. Book 1 started in 1987. Size is 8 1/2 x 11, sideways, very handy size, with ring binders that hold up over the years very well, and let it lay flat. Lots of good basic navigation information and maintenance tables and storage diagrams up front, plus a Guest Log. But the best part is the log book format itself. Lots of latitude for use for keeping stories of your cruises, but also can be only used for technical data like courses, etc. We like it. Stu
