Lockley Newport Panther manual?

I recently purchased a 14 ft. Lockley Newport Panther and am having problems trying to figure out how to rig it. I am a newbie and need a manual or some photos or something.

Anyone know where I can get a manual?

Hi KH,

I don't know about a manual, but I do own one of these Lockley Panthers. I've had mine since 1977.

Let me know if you're still wondering about rigging. I don't know where to find a manual, but it is a pretty simple task.

The mainsheet runs from the aft portion of the boom, through the traveller block at the transom, through the two blocks on the boom and down to the cam cleat on the deck. The halyard starts about midway on the gaff, through the top of the mast, through the block on the deck and through the cleat on the mast.

That's about it.
