Locations for Refrigerator Condenser Unit?

Looking at adding refrigeration for my 322. Most units have a 6ft max distance between the condenser and evaporator units. Units that allow 12ft give more options but are also more expensive. There is a labeled blank space on the breaker panel. Did O'day install any original refrigerators if so where did they put the condensor?

But our 37 initially had the air-cooled condenser in the starboard cockpit locker. I have also seen them placed under thew nav table and in the interior lockers. These were standard Adler Barbour in which the condenser and the compressor are all on one unit. When ours died I replaced it with a Frigoboat keel cooler unit. The condenser is a sintered bronze ground plate outside the hull through which the refrigerant passes. No pump, no fan motor. I could then place the compressor in a tiny little space under the companionway without having to worry about air circulation. I am very happy with it. So are my batteries.
