Hunter 306 Crofton, MD
I have a 2003 H306 that is new to me. I'm trying to run a new, heavier wire from the electric panel to the cockpit to provide power for a few instruments (GPS, wind, autopilot). I can trace the wires under the pedestal in the access holes in the roof of the aft berth. Then the wires run over behind the head and I can't get to them. From there they go to the electric panel, but it's hard to reach all the way back to where the wires enter. Anybody with a similar model got any ideas on getting to the wires around the head so I can run a new wire and remove the old one?

Maybe like H320

It might be the same basic design as my 2001 H320. If so, there is a cable conduit running from the panel to the stern compartment along the port side. From the stern compartment its easy to poke the wires to the pedestal access holes. BUT, on my boat Hunter had already provided the wires for the autopilot and instruments from the panel to the pedestal! All they missed was the SeaTalk. Gary
