A few weeks ago I asked if anyone knew of liveaboard marinas in the Ft Lauderdale area. One of you recommended a marina but I can't find the post. Please let me know one more time. Thanks. Gene
There are several marinas that allow liveaboards, and they're all rather pricey. A number of liveaboards are also on Isle of Venice and neighboring "islands", on 15th St., and many other places -- these are docks behind hotel/apartments. The city now requires you have a sanitary hookup to your boat if you are a liveaboard. Expect to pay around $600 a month for your hole in the water.
Gene,There are many canals off of Las Olas Blvd that condo owners will rent.It may be worth looking into. My father used to live on Hendricks Isle off of Las Olas and he had five slips. He rented four to sail boat owners and live aboards and kept one for his 32 Allied Seawind.r.w.landau
