Hello,

I recently inherited a small Pearson sailboat which I believe is an old Hawk model. I do not sail and do not intend to keep the boat which I understand is a somewhat rare or limited model. I believe it was built in the mid 1960's and has the original trailer as well. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me place a fair value on this boat for resale purposes. I do know that it has brand new sails including a spinnaker sail, and is outfitted with teak wood. It needs some TLC and I am hoping to sell it to a true Pearson fan. I have attached a couple of pictures. Thanks in advance for your advice.

First, you'd probably be better off posting this in the Pearson forum, rather than the one for heads, plumbing and freshwater systems. Second, just because it is a rare or limited model doesn't necessarily equate it with being worth more than other sailboats of the same age, size, etc. If it has been neglected, the value of the boat will drop significantly.

I know yours is an old post but if you never sold your boat, I would be interested in the sails. Thanks 207 633 4815 vatrmn@gmail.com
