little holes in the hull

Hi!
Now that my Vega is out of the water, I noticed some little holes
(about 1 mm diameter) on an area of the hull. Someone told me that it
could be a sort of "pest" that requires treatment and that could get
very bad. Any suggestion?

I've yet to hear of a bug that likes fiberglass, but with all this

I guess I could share your doubts about genetic manipulation!
Anyway, the 'pest' I was told about is a kind of chemical phenomenum that
occurs more frequently on warm and not very salty waters. Some says that you
have to measure the humidity in the holes and act consequently. Somehow I
have the feeling that there should be a simpler solution.

If I'll find a bug in one of those holes hole, I'll let you know
immediately.
