Little Ding

I have been sailing my Hunter Passage 42 for about 2 weeks now, and sailing totally for about 2 weeks now.So of course, I hit the dang dock!Little tap, and it nicked about the size of a nickle out of the get and into 1/4" into the fiberglass.Looks like I could acutally leave it alone, but I think I would prefer to fill it in.Can I fill it with just resin? Will it be white? Read any good books lately?

Fix the ding!

You should fix the ding using a gelcoat repair kit with additional tint for color match (usually required). Follow the instructions which include preparion of the area, use of mold release etc. All of this was dealt with a few weeks ago in the archives.ThanksJim W
