Literature for B&R rigging

Hi Don, Great discussion forum. I noticed in one of your replies that you were not familiar with the B&R rigging. Do you know of any literature that is available regarding sailing with this specific type of rig. Thanks, Mike B.

Mike: The problem is that I'm sorry to admit that I do not even know what a BandR rig is as I've never seen one. I'm just a common seaman and i have to admit when I don't know something.

You might want to check with Hunter about sailing in high wind with jib alone. I read several articles last year about the vulnerability of the B

While all of the new owners may have no backstay.. my 83 modle H34 does have a backstay.. just wanted to correct the record on B

These rigs may not be true B

These rigs were probably the last stage of evolution before Hunter switched to the B

I hae a 28.5 which does have a split backstay. Does it really need the backstay, not that I intend to experimemnt, or is that there becuse it would have too hard to sell the idea in the mid 80's?
