Does anyone have or know where to get an original manual for the Lister - Petter 6 hp , 1 cylinder engine? Or maybe a copy of the manual? This engine is in a Catalina 27', 1976 model. The problem with the engine is that it was running and a line got snagged in the prop which killed the engine and neither the previous or current owner can get it running. I may be buying this boat shortly, if the engine is salvageable. It seems to have plenty of compression (blows thumb off injector hole) and turns over easy, but will not attempt to fire. The fuel tank, line and injector have all been checked OK..... what are we missing? Could it be outta time somehow? What would be moved by this sudden stoppage of the engine? I know someone out there has the answer! Thanks in advance for your help! Jake
