Ron of San Diego reported that by using the 'optional wiring' and a switch, he was able to disconnect or interrupt the Battery combiner function. Is there a means by which someone can email me a wiring diagram of this idea? I don't see a means by which we can communicate directly with each other. thanks Ron. Hope we can find a way to follow up.

Brian, send me your e-mail address and I will dig out the wiring diagram. In the West Marine Combiner there are two additional wires. You hook these to a 3 way switch. Flip the switch one way and the combiner is always "on". Switch the other way and it is always "off". Leave the switch in the middle and it is on "automatic". I am not sure if your combiner is made this way. Wwinger@aol.com
