Hey guys, anyone have some pics of how your LD is installed? I Was down at the boat today trying to get a feel for how this should be installed. It looks like I need to design, build and glass a mounting block above the sanitary waste reservoir for the drive to mount to. It also looks like I need to raise the quadrant an inch to accommodate the new mounting arm that clamps to the rudder post. As much as I'd rather clamp the arm above the quadrant, it appears that the drain pipe that drains the cockpit is in the way.. based on the available space to work with, my game plan is to mount the arm in between the collar and pin that holds the rudder up and the quadrant. Any information would be helpful. Thanks guys( and ladies)

Your setup appears to be different from my 323, but the linear actuator on my boat is mounted "upside down" above the steering quadrant. The back of the cylinder is mounted to a base plate that is bolted through the transom to a backing plate. To compensate for the "upside down" setup, the wiring to the autopilot control box is reversed lett to the right post, and right to the left post. No need to mess with raising the steering quadrant to get clearance for the actuator arm on the rudder post. I don't know if this helps or complicates the issue for you.
