line cutter on saildrive

I am wondering how to get a line cutter on my saildrive. This is my first experience with a saildrive, and it was very easy finding lots of options for previous boats with non saildrive (used a shaft shark).

I have seen the sailstripper, but it is $800! Anyone have a line cutter?

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new Hunter. I am just coming into my first full year of ownership and to date have little to complain about.

I apologize as I cannot provide any advice about a line cutter, although in the area I sail it may be a prudent addition given the many, many prawn and crab traps that exist in these PNW waters. I will suggest that you expand your audience outside of Hunter Mid-Size Boats forum. In general, there are very few Hunters in the water that employ the saildrive; whereas, Bavaria and Beneteau with saildrives have been in production for a number of years.
