The arm of my "Line Caddy" broke. On the advice of two tech reps of plastic rods company I bought an Acetal rod. When I installed it and put just one dock line on it the rod made a 180* arc!
Any suggestions on a stiffer/more ridged rod material?

The original arm is fiberglass if that helps any.

Thanks Boomer! That really narrows the field.
I will put that in the search engine over the weekend.

Last time I needed parts when a hook broke I got them from Line Caddy. Have you checked with them?

Got a fiberglass rod from Grainger; works like the old rod.
Next step . . make a decorative hook out of teak.
