There was a post here last week about the dangers of lightning. I found the email of the company that makes the Stikeshield Lightning Protection System, basically a metal boot fastened to the mast in the event of a storm, with two heavy wires tossed overboard each side to trail in the water. try claferrier@strikeshiled.com
