I have a new 4 cycle honda 8hp on my cat 22. It is heavy for me to raise up and down in the bracket. I have heard that there is some way to raise and lower it easier with a rig. Any ideas?
ron, I am assuming it is a swing down mount? If so, there may be a setting for the spring tension. It is there to accomodate motors of different weights. I adjusted mine on my C25/Honda 10 4 stroke so my wife could pull it up. Big difference. If you are talking about tilting it, that's another deal altogether. Chris
from west marine i baught one after i saw it on a friends c22 and he lifted his 9.9 78lb motor sitting down one handed and i was impressed he had recently gotten a new hart transplant and i am half his age!!!!
